Led by Paul Thomas BSc (Hons), an experienced Architectural Technician, the practice combines creative design with genuine construction knowledge. From the first conversation through to planning and Building Regulations, clients receive clear, practical guidance at every stage of their project.
Meet Paul Thomas
Paul has spent more than four decades working across construction and architectural design.
His career began with hands-on experience as a bricklayer and general builder, giving him a practical understanding of how buildings are constructed and how design decisions affect the work on site.
Paul also spent 14 years as a Construction Lecturer before progressing his architectural design practice. This combination of construction, teaching and design experience allows him to explain complex requirements clearly and develop proposals that are attractive, practical and buildable.
From Construction to Design
Good architectural design is about more than how a building looks. It must also work for the people using it, respond to the existing property and remain realistic to construct.
Paul’s building background provides an understanding of materials, construction methods and the challenges that can arise during a project. This experience is considered from the beginning, helping to create designs that balance appearance, functionality, compliance and budget.
